Yael Stone is an Australian actress famous for playing roles including Lorna Morello in Orange Is the New Black Peretta Jones in Childhood's End and Dora Lumley in Picnic at Hanging Rock. She's appeared on various other television series and films, including Spirited High Maintenance Deep Water Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero The Wilde Wedding and many others. Her work is well-known for her advocacy on behalf of women's issues and for supporting reproductive rights and protections for the climate. She completed her schooling at Balmain Public School. She graduated from Newtown High School of the Performing Arts in Australia. She also graduated from at the National Institute of Dramatic Art.

Glau was able to showcase not just her acting skills, but her fighting skills as a character in Firefly.
