She's reported on sports for some of some of the most prominent media in the world. The time she worked working at The Washington Post was spent with multiple Olympics, Grand Slam Tennis, football and basketball. Nichols was hired by ESPN in 2004 and spent 9 years at the network, earning the network two Emmy Awards. She also featured on the most watched programs on ESPN like SportsCenter or NFL Countdown.
