Summer glau

Firefly was the next Whedon's popular show and it's likely that she created a buzz. The character of Summer Glau's River Tam was a complicated persona that Glau did well. As Tam she was required to participate in government research in which she was being trained to be the ultimate assassin. Tam's capacity to control her emotions is taken from her. Glau was able to showcase not just her acting skills, but her fighting skills as a character in Firefly. Her experience as an assassin allowed her an opportunity to make use of the full range of athletic skills she has. Summer Glau, a trained classical ballerina. Her dancing prowess also includes the study of flamenco and tango however it was her broken toe which ended her dance career. Firefly was only on for one season, yet it had a large fanbase. The fans of Whedon were so enthusiastic, Whedon returned to the show two years later. Summer Glau was still getting good work during the time.
