Ahna O'Reilly

Ahna was an American actress who is best known for her performance in the film Tate Taylor's The Help. Recent performances are the Sony adaptation of the film Where The Crawdads sing. Other credits in films include Bombshell as well as The Friend. Forgetting Sarah Marshall can also be seen. The credits on her television show consist of The Morning Show Kingdom, How I Met Your Mother and Reverie. Ahna played opposite Steven Pasquale on the New York stage in the show The RObber Bridegroom, produced by The Roundabout Theater Company, with the direction of Alex Timbers. This production was a huge success and nominated for a Lortel Award in recognition of outstanding revival. The Help is based off Kathryn Stockett's best-selling book with the same title. The Help is a period-based drama set within Jackson, Mississippi during the 1960s. The film opened to positive review and went on to become a box office record-breaking success, with an international gross of It as well as winning a variety of collective awards like the National Board of Review Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and Satellite Award. Firefly was the next Whedon's popular show and it's likely that she created a buzz. The character of Summer Glau's River Tam was a complicated persona that Glau did well. As Tam she was required to participate in government research in which she was being trained to be the ultimate assassin. Tam's capacity to control her emotions is taken from her. Glau was able to showcase not just her acting skills, but her fighting skills as a character in Firefly. Her experience as an assassin allowed her an opportunity to make use of the full range of athletic skills she has. Summer Glau, a trained classical ballerina.
